Prescriptions

As an existing patient of Kingsley Medical you may request your repeat prescription(s) by clicking on the button below. Prescriptions will no longer be faxed or mailed.

Before you request your prescription renewal, please read the following information:

1. Only current patients of Kingsley Medical may request a prescription renewal without a doctor’s consultation.
2. Only medications that have previously been prescribed by a doctor at Kingsley Medical can be renewed without a doctor’s consultation.
3. If your prescription is overdue for renewal or you are requesting a renewal in advance of the scheduled date. Your online request may not be approved, and you may be asked to make an appointment with one of our doctors to renew your prescription. You will not be charged for your online request if it is not approved.
4. Our doctors are not able to renew some prescriptions without seeing you first. This may be for several reasons – to evaluate for any side-effects, to check on your progress or to see if other medications may be more appropriate. If you are unsure why we are unable to renew your prescription without a consultation, please ask on your next visit.
5. All prescription renewals will incur an upfront fee regardless of the number of prescriptions that you request.

   • Prescription costs – $15 + $2.25 transaction fees. Total cost to patients is $17.25. Medicare rebate does not apply.

Repeat Referrals

Before you request your repeat referral, please read the following information:

1. Only current patients of Kingsley Medical may request a repeat referral without a doctor’s consultation.
2. Only repeat referrals that have previously been issued by a doctor at Kingsley Medical can be renewed without a doctor’s consultation.
3. Our doctors cannot backdate referrals.
4. Some referrals may not be issued without seeing you first. This may be for several reasons – to evaluate for any updates, to check on your progress or to see if other specialists may be more appropriate. If you are unsure why we are unable to issue a new referral without a consultation, please ask on your next visit.
5. All referral requests will incur an upfront fee regardless of the number of referrals that you request.

Repeat Referral costs – $50 + $2.25 transaction fees. Total cost to patients is $52.25. Medicare rebate does not apply.

Medical Certificates

Before you request your medical certificate, please read the following information:

1. Only current patients of Kingsley Medical may request a medical certificate without a doctor’s consultation.
2. Our doctors cannot backdate medical certificates.
3. Issue of a Medical Certificate is at the discretion of the doctor.
4. All Medical Certificate requests will incur an upfront fee.

Repeat Referral costs – $20 + $2.25 transaction fees. Total cost to patients is $22.25. Medicare rebate does not apply.
